This year’s fly-in also honors Greg “Pappy” Boyington who grew up in St. Maries. He is famous for his service in the Marine Corps where he was a WWII flying ace.

This is the fourth year the St. Joe Snow Riders snowmobile club has organized the Summer Sucks Drag Races near the high school on Lumberjack Lane. This event has proven to be fun for all ages, races and spectators alike.
